Located just south of Huntsville, AL. We are enthusiastic breeders birthed out of the enthrallment of the English Labrador. From the stunning broad head, barrel chest, stocky body, and otter tail to the unrivaled, calm temperament we couldn't help but fall in love. And we aren't the only ones to adore the English Labrador in all its endearing characteristics. The Labrador Retriever has been the no. 1 selling breed for the last 30 years according to the AKC.

Who We Are
Meet the Pope's
We have been married since 2014 and have always shared a bond over our love for dogs. We have always had furry companions in our home and have thought of them as an extension of our family. It wasn't until a few years ago that we were introduced to the gorgeous English Labrador and our hearts have never looked after another dog the same.

We pride ourselves on the diligent care we put into purposefully breeding our labs as well as raising and training young Labrador pups.

We want you to know that we are responsible breeders with integrity who ensure that all of our labs fall within the American Kennel Club Standards. We breed black, chocolate, and yellow colors as these are the only recognized colors by AKC in the Labrador breed. We are a young kennel but are growing each year with outstanding young prospects and look forward to many years of success, labs, and adventure!
